Launched: Orbix Custodian, Thailand's first digital asset custodian

Launch of Orbix Custodian, the first digital asset custodian service provider in Thailand to receive a license from the Ministry of Finance and the SEC, aiming to upgrade the infrastructure of the Thai digital asset market to compete internationally.

March 27, 2568 Orbix Custodian The first digital asset custodian service provider in Thailand to be licensed by the Ministry of Finance and regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially announced its launch on March 11, 2568, aiming to upgrade the infrastructure of Thailand’s digital asset market to be internationally competitive.

Mr. Ken Robert Svenson, Managing Director Orbix Custodian Co., Ltd. Revealed that the launch of Orbix Custodian is not only an important step for the company, but also an important milestone for Thailand as it aims to become the center of the digital asset industry in the region.

The company has opened its services to digital asset business operators licensed by the Ministry of Finance in the form of cold wallet digital asset storage (a system that connects to the network only when making transactions) and has selected IBM, a global computer and information services company, as a partner in using Hardware Security Modules (HSM) technology to encrypt keys certified to FIPS 140-2 Level 4, the highest level of key encryption according to the standard.

Orbix Custodian's services are also flexible according to customer usage. Transaction approval can be set to meet various usage needs of businesses. Orbix Custodian has products ready to serve customers in the form of a web application for creating transaction orders and a mobile application for transaction approval to provide more convenience to users.

In addition, customers can easily integrate their existing key management system with Orbix Custodian’s key management system in a plug & play manner. The flexibility also extends to supporting ready-to-use digital assets and allowing for additional digital assets to be added as per customer needs.
